YOUR FIRST VISIT

Your first appointment is a comprehensive exam and consultation.

Rather than scheduling a cleaning right away, we begin with a careful evaluation so we can understand your dental health and recommend the most appropriate preventive care and treatment for you.

During your visit we typically:

• Review your dental and medical history
• Take digital X-rays and photographs
• Create a digital scan of your teeth
• Perform a comprehensive dental exam
• Evaluate your bite, gums, and oral health
• Screen for oral cancer

Insurance

We accept all PPO dental insurance plans as an out-of-network provider.

This means:

• Your out-of-pocket costs may be higher than at in-network offices, depending on your plan.
• Our team will file insurance claims on your behalf to make the process as smooth as possible.
• Being out-of-network allows us to spend the time needed for a prevention-focused approach and recommend long-lasting dentistry based on your health, not insurance limitations.
